Objectives
The objectives of the Association shall be to: \ i. Promote collaboration among the ODeL practitioners and academic institutions in Nigeria. ii. Provide opportunities for dissemination of research findings through annual journals and conferences. iii. Assist stakeholders on the deployment of ODeL based on local needs and regulations. iv. Synergize with regulatory institutions on the promotion of ODeL practices in Nigeria. 3 v. To serve as a national body that can advise the Government and other stakeholders on issues relating to ODeL in Nigeria. vi. Encourage the sharing of expertise among the ODeL practitioners. vii. Serve as a forum that brings together ODeL practitioners and stakeholders in Nigeria. viii. Champion the course of ODeL in Nigeria in line with international best practices. ix. Acquaint members with cutting edge technologies in the field of OD & e-L. x. Collaborate with similar national and international bodies that are concerned with Open, Distance and e-Learning to beef up the standard of the practice in Nigeria. xi. Carry out advocacy and sensitization on the benefits of ODeL in Nigeria and beyond xii. To be a forum that brings together ODeL practitioners and stakeholders in Nigeria.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Annual Conference of Open, Distance and e-Learning of Nigeria (ODeLAN) will be hosted by the Distance Learning Centre, Ahmadu Bello University Kaduna (Nigeria) between the 21st to 24th of April 2024.
The objectives the conference is to:
- Conceptualize Inclusive Digital Learning Ecosystems within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs).
- Meet and discuss with expert scholars and practitioners who will present best practices and expertise in Open, Distance and e-Learning Education.
- Provide a platform for sharing knowledge and engaging current and emergent issues in Open, Distance and e-Learning Education.
- Ensure the active participation of members and potential members from different parts of the country and the world at large.
